Many image models, and a community around them
NightCafe puts a long list of image models behind one prompt box and adds daily challenges, badges and a public feed to the outside of it. The free credits refresh every day and most of what a casual user wants is covered by them. Paying buys Fast Credits, which are the ones that do not queue.

Come here to try a lot of models cheaply, and go to Leonardo when you have settled on a look and need it repeated. The community side is genuine rather than decorative, which is unusual, and it is the reason people describe NightCafe as fun.

Image generation with design templates
Playground puts several image models behind one editor and adds the layout tools a thumbnail or a poster needs, so the generated image does not have to leave for another app. Free accounts generate at a slower queue and get no commercial licence, which is the line that decides whether it is a toy or a tool. Paid credits are counted per generation across the premium models.
