Running the business
Kickbooster turns Kickstarter or Indiegogo backers into affiliates during a live campaign, at $99 a month plus 3 percent of what those affiliates generate. Rewardful attaches an affiliate programme to a Stripe or Paddle subscription business instead, banded by how much affiliate revenue passes through rather than by feature, from $49 a month up to $7,500 in affiliate revenue with 0 percent taken. Kickbooster is for a single funded campaign; Rewardful is for a running subscription business that already bills through Stripe or Paddle.

Affiliate referrals for crowdfunding
Kickbooster turns backers into affiliates during a Kickstarter or Indiegogo campaign, tracking their referral links and paying commission once the campaign funds. Running that by hand across a few hundred backers is the problem it exists to remove. Pricing is monthly plus a percentage of the revenue affiliates bring, so a campaign that works pays more.

Affiliate programs built on top of Stripe
Rewardful attaches an affiliate program to a business that already bills through Stripe or Paddle, and the install really is two scripts. Commissions adjust themselves when a referred customer upgrades, downgrades or cancels, which is the part people get wrong doing it in a spreadsheet. It sees only what those two processors see, so a Gumroad or Lemon Squeezy checkout sits outside it.
Our note
Rewardful and FirstPromoter cost the same and do the same job. Choose Rewardful if you want it working in an afternoon, and FirstPromoter if the affiliate dashboard needs to look like part of your product.
Pick Kickbooster specifically for a Kickstarter or Indiegogo launch, where the mechanic is backers becoming a sales channel during the funding window. Starter is $99 a month plus 3 percent of what affiliates bring in.
Pick Rewardful for a subscription business on Stripe or Paddle wanting a programme running within an afternoon. Starter is $49 a month for up to $7,500 of monthly affiliate revenue, cheaper than Kickbooster's entry price and taking no percentage at all. Anybody selling through Gumroad, Lemon Squeezy or a marketplace is outside what Rewardful can track, since it only sees what Stripe and Paddle see.

Shaded rows are where the two answers disagree and both listings have answered. A row where one side has not stated a fact is left plain, because silence is not a difference.
