Jotform's Bronze plan is $39 a month for 25 forms and 1,000 submissions. Typeform's Basic plan is also $39 a month, or $28 billed yearly, but covers only 100 responses a month for one user. The gap is the point: Typeform shows one question at a time, which raises completion rates enough that people pay more per response for better answers, while Jotform is built to handle a higher volume of ordinary form fills, many of which involve taking payment.

Forms that take payments without a separate tool
Jotform is a form builder whose useful trick is that a form can collect money. Order forms, deposits, booking fees and donations all work through the payment processors most creators already use, with no separate checkout to maintain. It also does the unglamorous things well: file uploads, conditional logic, approvals and a signable document. The free plan allows a real number of submissions rather than a token few, and plans above it are metered by submissions and storage.

One question at a time, and people finish it
Typeform shows a form one question at a time, and the completion rate is the reason it costs more than a grid of input boxes. For a creator it is the audience survey, the coaching intake and the sponsor brief, all of which get better answers when the form does not look like paperwork. Logic jumps let a later question depend on an earlier answer without anybody seeing the branches. Plans are metered by responses per month, and that allowance is what runs out rather than the feature list.
Choose Jotform if volume matters and the form needs to collect money, since Bronze at $39 a month covers 1,000 submissions against Typeform's 100 at the same price. Payments route through the processors you already use, with no separate checkout, which Typeform is not built around in the same way.
Choose Typeform if the quality of the answer matters more than the cost per response, an audience survey, a coaching intake, a sponsor request, since showing one question at a time is what raises completion rates. That is also why the response allowance is smaller for the same money: Basic covers only 100 responses a month against Jotform's 1,000 submissions on a comparable plan.

Shaded rows are where the two answers disagree and both listings have answered. A row where one side has not stated a fact is left plain, because silence is not a difference.
