Running the business
Both cover design & graphics. Here is what separates them on price, billing, what you can take with you, and coverage.

Shaded rows are where the two answers disagree and both listings have answered. A row where one side has not stated a fact is left plain, because silence is not a difference.
Decks, docs and sites generated from a prompt
Gamma turns a prompt or a pasted document into a deck, a page or a small website, then lets you edit the result the way you would edit a document rather than by dragging boxes around a slide. Everything it makes is responsive, so the same file reads properly on a phone. Credits meter the generation and the free plan starts you with four hundred of them. Export goes out to PDF, PowerPoint and Google Slides.
Our note
Gamma is the fastest route from a rough idea to something presentable, and the credit system is the thing to watch rather than the seat price. Canva does more if you want to art-direct the result; this wins when the deck is a means to an end.

Freepik's stock library plus AI models
Magnific is what Freepik renamed itself, and the plan buys both halves of that history: a quarter of a billion photos, vectors and PSDs, plus generation and upscaling across a shelf of image, video and audio models. Credits are the meter, and they are issued for the year rather than reset every month, so a heavy fortnight does not strand the rest of the quarter. A commercial licence covers what comes out. Anybody who only wants stock will be paying for the model access as well, because the plans no longer separate them.
Ratings are the average of reviews readers left. The facts are stated by each tool’s own listing and are not verified by CloutStack. How we make money.
| Covers | Design & Graphics, Website Builders | Design & Graphics, AI Image Generation, Stock Footage & Assets |

Our note
Check what you currently spend on stock before treating this as a generation tool, because for a lot of people the library alone justifies the entry plan and the models are the part that comes free. The name change is recent enough that searching for Freepik pricing will still find old figures.
