Shaded rows are where the two answers disagree and both listings have answered. A row where one side has not stated a fact is left plain, because silence is not a difference.
Music that changes shape to fit the edit
Filmstro scores to picture by letting the music itself be adjusted, so momentum, depth and power become sliders that reshape a track to the length and mood of a cut. Licences clear worldwide and in perpetuity, which matters more than it sounds when a video keeps earning years later. A Premiere Pro extension puts the whole thing inside the timeline on the dearer creator plan. The personal licence covers one channel per platform, so anybody running several brands needs to read that limit first.
Our note
Take the extension tier if you edit in Premiere, because scoring against picture is exactly where switching to a browser costs you the feel you were chasing. Check the one-channel-per-platform wording against how many accounts you actually post to, since that is the limit most likely to catch somebody out later.
Music from real artists, free if you credit them
Thematic pairs creators with musicians who want the exposure, so the free tier is a genuine trade rather than a trial: you use the track, the artist gets credited and found. Paying removes the credit requirement and adds the trending songs. Everything is cleared for monetised video, which is the whole point of using it over a random upload.
Ratings are the average of reviews readers left. The facts are stated by each tool’s own listing and are not verified by CloutStack. How we make money.

Our note
Start free and see whether the credit line bothers you, because for most channels it does not and the music is good. Uppbeat works the same way and has a bigger catalogue; Thematic has the better relationship with the artists on it.
