Running the business
Everlance logs mileage automatically in the background and turns a year of drives into a deduction, free for 30 trips a month and $10.99 a month on Starter for unlimited tracking. Found is a business bank account for the self-employed with bookkeeping, invoicing, contractor payments and a running tax estimate built in, free with no monthly fee, then $35 a month on Found Plus for imported transactions and interest on balances. One tracks driving. The other is the account the money sits in, and neither replaces the other.

Mileage and expenses tracked for freelancers
Everlance runs in the background on a phone and logs drives automatically, which is the part of a mileage deduction nobody does by hand for long. Swiping classifies a trip as work or personal, and the year's log exports in the shape a tax return wants. The free plan caps automatic detection at 30 trips a month, and a working week eats that.
Our note
The free tier's 30 trips is the number to check yourself against. Two client visits a week uses it up, and a partially tracked year is worth less at tax time than a fully tracked one.
Banking, bookkeeping and tax in one account
Found is a business account for self-employed people with the bookkeeping and the tax set-aside built into it, so expenses categorise themselves as they land and the quarterly estimate is on screen rather than in April. It invoices, pays contractors and files 1099s. The free plan has no monthly fee and no minimum balance, which is the reason to look at it before a bank.
Our note
Pick Everlance if your work involves driving and you want it detected automatically rather than reconstructed from memory. The free plan covers 30 trips a month; check that against a typical week before assuming it holds.
Pick Found if you are a US sole trader or single-member company running a business through a personal account and want the tax set-aside and categorising to happen automatically as money moves. The free plan has no monthly fee and covers invoicing, contractor payments and 1099 filing. It is no use outside the US, and a business with staff and stock will outgrow it.

Shaded rows are where the two answers disagree and both listings have answered. A row where one side has not stated a fact is left plain, because silence is not a difference.
Wave is free and does the books without touching the banking, so Found only makes sense if you want the account itself to do the categorising. Anybody happy with their existing bank should stay with Wave and keep the $35.
