Running the business
Easypromos is dozens of contest formats on one subscription from $29 a month. ViralSweep is sweepstakes and contests built to stay compliant, from $49, with official rules, records and winner documentation as the product. Both run a giveaway. Only one of them is mostly about the legal exposure when the prize is worth real money.

Dozens of contest formats, one subscription
Easypromos is a library of promotion mechanics rather than a single giveaway form: random draws, quizzes, photo contests, instant win games and a set of small browser games people actually play. Everything runs from one account with entry rules, winner selection and the compliance text a public draw needs. A plan covers unlimited promotions for as long as it is active. The interface shows its age in places.
Our note
Buy a month rather than a year unless you promote continuously, because the ability to activate a plan for a three week contest and stop is the thing this pricing allows and most competitors do not. Check which formats sit in which tier first, since that is the only axis the ladder moves on.

Sweepstakes and contests that stay compliant
Easypromos is the better buy for promotions that change shape often, since format breadth is the thing it sells, and its tiers move on which apps are included rather than on entrant volume. No commitment period on any plan except Corporate means a subscription can cover a single three week campaign.
ViralSweep earns its higher price in one place: rules, records and bonding, which only matter above a prize value most creators never reach. Starter at $49 covers unlimited promotions and entries; white labelling and sales tracking arrive at $199, and the API and payments at $399. Every plan starts with a 7-day trial. If the prize is a hoodie, this is not the tool. If a regulator or a disappointed entrant could plausibly ask questions, it is.

Shaded rows are where the two answers disagree and both listings have answered. A row where one side has not stated a fact is left plain, because silence is not a difference.
ViralSweep runs the giveaway and, more to the point, runs the legal side of it: official rules, entry records, winner selection and the bonding a US sweepstakes needs above a prize threshold. Gleam is cheaper and lighter. This is the one to use when the prize is big enough that getting it wrong matters.
Our note
Gleam does the mechanics for less. The reason to pay four times as much here is the rules, the records and the bonding, which only matter above a prize value most creators never reach.
