Making the work
Growing an audience
Running the business
ClickFunnels sells the whole sequence for $97 a month: pages, upsells, email and a course platform delivering what you sold. GetResponse starts at $19 a month for email, then adds landing pages, funnels and paid webinars as the tiers rise, on a platform that has been sending email since before most of its competitors existed. ClickFunnels is priced like a bundle from day one; GetResponse lets you grow into the breadth instead.

Funnels, courses and email in one subscription
ClickFunnels sells the whole sequence rather than the page: opt-in, offer, upsell, email follow-up and a course to deliver what you sold. Everything lives in one account, which is the argument for it and also the argument against, since leaving means moving five things at once. The community around it is a large part of what people pay for.
Our note
The maths only works if you would otherwise be paying for a page builder, an email tool and a course platform separately. If you already have two of the three, Unbounce or Leadpages will do the pages for a quarter of the money.

Email, automation and webinars on one bill
GetResponse has been sending email since before most of its competitors existed, and it kept adding: landing pages, funnels, paid webinars, an ecommerce push. For a creator selling a course that breadth removes two other subscriptions. It also means the interface carries twenty years of features, and the newer tools feel lighter to use.
Buy ClickFunnels if you want the opt-in page, the follow-up email and a course platform all live on day one, for $97 a month with 50,000 emails included. The community and the funnel-building method are part of what you are paying for, and leaving later means moving several things at once.
Buy GetResponse if you are selling a course or coaching offer and want to start cheap: $19 a month against ClickFunnels' $97 is a real gap, and the paid webinar tool built into the higher tiers replaces a separate subscription most competitors do not include. Anybody who mainly wants to send a plain newsletter will still find it heavier than a tool built only for that.

Shaded rows are where the two answers disagree and both listings have answered. A row where one side has not stated a fact is left plain, because silence is not a difference.
Our note
The webinar tool is the reason to pick this over Kit or MailerLite, and it is worth real money if you run live sessions. If you do not, you are paying for twenty years of features to send email that those two send more pleasantly.
