AI editing for talking-head video on iPhone
Captions edits the kind of video where somebody talks to the camera. It cuts the pauses, animates the subtitles and can generate the B-roll, music and sound effects that go around what you actually shot. The AI actor feature produces footage of a presenter from a script, either an invented one or a twin of you. Its pricing covers the iOS plans and the page says so rather than leaving you to find out.
Our note
This is the strongest of the phone-first AI editors and the least useful if you already own a desktop workflow. Treat the credit allowance rather than the monthly price as the real limit.

A prompt in, a narrated video out
invideo AI takes an idea in a sentence and returns a video with stock clips, a script, a voiceover and captions, then lets you fix it by typing corrections rather than by dragging on a timeline. That is a different way to work and it suits people who write faster than they edit. Everything is metered in credits, and unused ones do not carry to the next month.
Ratings are the average of reviews readers left. The facts are stated by each tool’s own listing and are not verified by CloutStack. How we make money.

Shaded rows are where the two answers disagree and both listings have answered. A row where one side has not stated a fact is left plain, because silence is not a difference.
Our note
Credits expiring monthly is the detail that decides whether the entry plan works for you: it suits steady weekly output and punishes anybody who batches a month of videos in one weekend. There is no free plan, so budget for at least one month to evaluate it.
