Both cover website builders. Here is what separates them on price, billing, what you can take with you, and coverage.

Shaded rows are where the two answers disagree and both listings have answered. A row where one side has not stated a fact is left plain, because silence is not a difference.
A WordPress builder that leaves clean markup
Beaver Builder is the WordPress page builder chosen by people who care what happens when it is switched off: content stays as ordinary WordPress content rather than collapsing into shortcodes. Licences are annual and cover unlimited sites from the second tier. The white-label option lets an agency hand a site over without its own tooling being visible. The template library is smaller than the flashier builders, which is the trade for the markup being sane.
Our note
Choose this over Divi or Elementor when the site may outlive your involvement with it, because the shortcode lock-in is the thing that hurts a client two years later. If nobody will ever migrate the site, the cheaper unlimited licences elsewhere are the better arithmetic.
Turn a WordPress site into a course platform
LearnDash is the answer for somebody who already has a WordPress site and does not want their course living on somebody else's domain. Lessons, quizzes, drip schedules and certificates all become part of the site you own, and the payment plugin is your choice rather than theirs. Hosting, backups and the security of that site stay your problem. That is the whole trade against a hosted platform.
Ratings are the average of reviews readers left. The facts are stated by each tool’s own listing and are not verified by CloutStack. How we make money.

Our note
Add hosting and a payment plugin to the licence before comparing this against a hosted platform, because $259 is the floor rather than the total. The reason to choose it is ownership: the course sits on your domain, feeds your own SEO, and does not disappear if a vendor changes its plans.
