Artlist licenses music, footage and plugins on one subscription that keeps covering anything you already published after you cancel, from $19.99 a month billed annually. Slipstream licenses music only, over a million tracks cleared for YouTube, TikTok, Meta and podcasts, with a Creator plan priced at $10 a month specifically so an independent channel can afford it, covering up to three channels per platform. Slipstream's jump from that $10 plan to its $200 Teams tier is steep, with nothing priced in between. Artlist costs more to start but adds footage and plugins Slipstream does not sell at all.

One licence covering music, footage and plugins
Artlist sells a subscription that licenses everything on it for everything you make, including the videos you monetise, and the licence survives the subscription ending for anything already published. That last clause is the one worth reading twice, because it is where most stock music libraries hedge. The catalogue leans cinematic. Somebody who needs one track this month will find a per-track shop cheaper, and Artlist does not sell that way.
Our note
The licence terms are the product here and the catalogue is secondary, which is the opposite of how these are usually sold. Compare against Epidemic Sound on what happens when you stop paying rather than on how many tracks each claims.
Music licensing with a $10 creator plan
Slipstream licenses a catalogue of over a million tracks for social video, with clearance that covers YouTube, TikTok, Meta and podcasts. The creator plan is priced where an independent channel can actually pay it, and caps channels rather than uploads. Team plans jump to a different order of money, so the middle of the market is thin here.
Pick Slipstream if you are an independent creator or small team on a real budget: Creator is $10 a month paid annually, half of Artlist's entry price, and covers up to three channels per platform across YouTube, TikTok, Meta and podcasts. Anybody who needs broadcast, film or app rights has to jump straight to a quoted Enterprise tier, since Slipstream prices almost nothing between $10 and the $200 Teams plan.
Pick Artlist if you want footage and plugins bundled with the music, or the licence surviving cancellation on already-published work matters to you, which Slipstream's listing does not describe having. At $19.99 a month billed annually, Artlist costs twice Slipstream's Creator price for a wider, cinematic-leaning catalogue rather than the largest one available.

Shaded rows are where the two answers disagree and both listings have answered. A row where one side has not stated a fact is left plain, because silence is not a difference.
