Adobe Stock licenses straight inside Premiere and Photoshop from $29.99 a month for 10 credits, on an annual commitment that charges a cancellation fee after 14 days. Magnific is what Freepik renamed itself: a quarter of a billion stock assets plus image, video and audio generation models on one plan, from $14.50 a month billed annually, with credits that last the whole year instead of resetting monthly. Adobe is the choice for an editor already inside Creative Cloud. Magnific is the choice for anybody who wants stock and AI generation on the same bill, for less money.

Stock assets that open straight into Adobe apps
Adobe Stock is worth its premium only if you already work in Premiere or Photoshop, where a comp drops onto the timeline and licenses in place without a download step. The library is one of the largest anywhere. Credits expire, the annual plan charges a cancellation fee, and both facts are on the page rather than hidden.
Freepik's stock library plus AI models
Magnific is what Freepik renamed itself, and the plan buys both halves of that history: a quarter of a billion photos, vectors and PSDs, plus generation and upscaling across a shelf of image, video and audio models. Credits are the meter, and they are issued for the year rather than reset every month, so a heavy fortnight does not strand the rest of the quarter. A commercial licence covers what comes out. Anybody who only wants stock will be paying for the model access as well, because the plans no longer separate them.
Our note
Check what you currently spend on stock before treating this as a generation tool, because for a lot of people the library alone justifies the entry plan and the models are the part that comes free. The name change is recent enough that searching for Freepik pricing will still find old figures.
Pick Adobe Stock if you live in Premiere or Photoshop and the in-app licensing saves real time every week. The library, at over 900 million assets, is the place to find something specific or obscure that a smaller library will not have. The cost of that convenience is real: credits expire, and the annual plan charges a cancellation fee of up to half the remaining commitment if you leave after 14 days.
Pick Magnific if you were already paying for stock and for a generation tool separately, since the $14.50 Premium plan folds both into one bill with 240,000 credits that carry across the year rather than resetting. That yearly pool suits uneven work better than a monthly allowance, and a commercial licence covers everything it outputs. Anybody who only wants stock photography is subsidising model access they will never touch, and a stock-only subscription will serve them better.

Shaded rows are where the two answers disagree and both listings have answered. A row where one side has not stated a fact is left plain, because silence is not a difference.
